At the meeting held by Bijak Memilih discussing the launch of Bijak Demokrasi, it contains four main features:
(1) Bijak Pilkada Launching Bijak Demokrasi
National Awakening Hall, Tuesday, May 21, 2024
“After Bijak Memilih, what’s next?”
Starting from that, Think Policy which initiated the Bijak Memilih movement launched Bijak Demokrasi on May 20, 2024, coinciding with National Awakening Day.
Bijak Demokrasi is an ecosystem created to support the vision and mission of #DemokrasiNaikKelas.
Using a similar framework to Bijak Memilih to accompany voters in making informed decisions for the upcoming Regional Head Election.
(2) Bijak Monitoring
Will still be developed until the end of 2024. Its features are prepared to allow the public to monitor policies (currently still at the national level).
(3) Bijak Gathering
To facilitate discussions and collaborations in three lines.
Online Bijak Community. Activities between online communities
Bijak Coalition. A platform for coalitions and networking between organizations and communities. Its output can create movements, joint events, or others.
Bijak Hub. Branch of the Bijak team in cities/districts to accommodate community activities.
(4) Bijak School by Think Policy
A learning platform (like Udemy) with three objectives;
Understanding issues,
Understanding policies,
Promoting policies.
In his presentation, Afu Utami emphasized that Bijak is a movement, not an organization. This makes Bijak a space for everyone and not owned by just one person.
