A talk show attended by five panelists to respond to findings from Jakarta Feminist regarding discriminatory regulations towards vulnerable groups, especially women.
The seven types of regulations most commonly found address;
-prohibition of prostitution
-prohibition of cohabitation
-prohibition of gathering
-curfew
-dress code
-gender bias
-consensual sex
This map of discriminatory regulations can be accessed at http://bit.ly/petadiskriminatif .
The map is divided by province, and there is a list of regulations including specific articles that are considered discriminatory. On the same page, anyone can also submit findings of other discriminatory regulations that have not been listed.
Jak Fem also released the latest version of the Feminist Hub, which now has more interactive feminism courses supported by animation media for lighter learning.
The latest version of the Feminist Hub can be checked on the website http://jakartafeminist.com , under the Hub menu, submenu Feminist Hub.
Input for friends across communities with different concentrations is to identify regulations that may not directly mention women, marginalization, or other vulnerable communities in their discussions, but in practice, it is the vulnerable communities and women who are most affected.
