That afternoon, a chat from WhatsApp rang. A friendly introduction from Galih greeted the Never Okay Project team, inviting the activists of the Never Okay Project to learn in a "mini social campaign class" organized by campaign.com. That night, we briefly learned how to create a campaign through the #forchange campaign app to voice the issues that each of the present communities is engaged in.

Communities with campaigns that are willing to carry out their campaigns will receive assistance of Rp. 5,000 for each action received from others. We decided to create a campaign #FunWorkBuddy, where we wanted to invite workers to minimize sexual harassment in the workplace and promote positive friendship patterns at work without jokes that lead to sexual harassment.

A month later, while we were trying to voice the #FunWorkBuddy campaign through social media and personal invitations with each activist's colleagues, Pandu greeted us through WhatsApp chat warmly. He, as a representative of campaign.com, invited us to learn more deeply by attending Campaign Academy, where we were gathered together with friends from communities addressing similar issues. Together with Pandulisane, the Purple Women's Community, Sharepeace, Single Mom, Young Catalysts, and others, we learned many things, from creating a Community Model Canvas, creating powerful content, project management, to sustainability campaigns. For three full months, holding several bootcamp meetings at the Campaign office, we were taught many things. The good news is, each action we received from the #FunWorkBuddy campaign rose to Rp. 10,000 per action.

During the bootcamp, each community with a campaign was able to carry out its activities to invite people to join the campaign actions. Like swimming while drinking water, during the bootcamp activities each community carried out their actions to invite activists from other communities to enliven their respective campaigns.

At the end of February 2020, the journey of the #FunWorkBuddy campaign ended with a graduation event together with other communities. The #FunWorkBuddy campaign successfully gathered 330 Actions with various activities such as personal invites to colleagues, involving the #FunWorkBuddy prerequisites for new volunteer candidates, giveaways, and consultations on workplace dynamics at CFD Sudirman Jakarta!

From the 330 actions successfully gathered, we received funding assistance of Rp. 3,300,000 which we will use to enhance the capacity of activists and volunteers of the Never Okay Project during several sessions. Thank you campaign.com for inviting the Never Okay Project to learn together in promoting the campaigns of issues we are engaged in.
We hope other communities also get the same opportunity! We recommend perEMPUan and Safe Women and women or communities concerned about sexual harassment to get the same opportunity as us!
Wishing you always success!
