Building a healthy and productive work culture is a long journey that requires collective commitment. This awareness is what brought the Never Okay Project to Makassar on March 11, 2026. Held at the Mercure Nexa Pettarani Hotel, we collaborated with PT Grand Kakao Indonesia to organize an internal capacity building program that is crucial to sustaining professionalism in the company.

With the big theme "Anti Sexual Harassment at Work: Look Out for Each Other - Work Safely and Comfortably", this offline seminar was attended by 95 employees from various divisions. The enthusiasm of participants shows that the topic of workplace safety is no longer taboo, but an urgent need in the modern work era.

Why Is Education Important?

Sexual harassment in the workplace often hides behind excuses of "joking" or "familiarity". Through the material presentation session, Never Okay Project equipped employees with in-depth knowledge about the forms of harassment. Understanding boundaries is the key so that everyone feels respected and protected.

Interactive Discussion: From Theory to Action

One of the most dynamic parts of this activity was the interactive discussion and Q&A session. Participants were invited to reflect on their respective roles. The question was no longer "did this happen?", but rather "what should I do if I see it or experience it?".

Creating a safe environment means everyone must be brave enough to take on the role of an active bystander. With the principle of "Look Out for Each Other", employees of PT Grand Kakao Indonesia are encouraged not to look away and to build a strong internal support system together. Safe work is not only the responsibility of the HR department, but the responsibility of everyone in the company's ecosystem.
