Imelda is currently pursuing her master degree, majoring in Applied Social Analysis at Linnaeus University, Sweden. She previously worked for a consulting firm that concerns on sustainable development programs, mainly focusing to help companies/corporations to have such effective CSR programs in order to hit the targeted impact.

Alvin has experience in behavioral criminology which focuses on the study of behavior change, crime risk and moral ethics. For the past three years, he has been involved professionally to strengthen the sectors of public integrity, governance, justice reform and human rights through a social accountability approach. Alvin is also a researcher at Transparency International Indonesia.

Deriving from his interest in investigating gender and sexuality issues in literary and media texts during his study in English Literature, Firhat believes that patriarchy also harms men, especially those with non-normative gender expression and sexual orientation.

He currently works as a Content Specialist for a management consulting firm with a passion for making use of his research and writing skills for a collective movement on the issue of women and minority groups.

Joining Never Okay Project is a manifestation of such will.

Gender and Social Structure, which Fildza took during her study at Sociology Department UI, woke her up that many social problems are rooted in gender inequality. Unfortunately, many people are unaware of this.

Deriving from such restlessness, Fildza likes to open discussions on gender through film reviews, Netflix series, or K-drama she watches.

To expand her contribution, Fildza joined Never Okay Project in Research & Knowledge Management to channel her interest in social research, or her curiosity!
